Finally got around to painting this Hall of Famer! Country and bluegrass music singer, songwriter, and musician, Marty Stuart. Stuart initially toured with Lester Flatt, and then in Johnny Cash's road band, then had success in a solo career.
Stuart has won five Grammy Awards out of 16 nominations. He is also a member of the Grand Ole Opry and Country Music Hall of Fame, and is married to my dear family friend, the legendary, Connie Smith.
I love how this painting turned out with all of the colors. Marty is quite the country music historian, and is known for his extensive collection of country music memorabilia. I remember him coming by the house once, I think my mom gave him some boots of my grandmother's.
